A counter balance weight is an important addition to the powered stretch wrap machine. The counter balance weight protects the stretch wrap machine from having inadequate weight distribution during use. As the wrapping takes place the counter weight moves to properly match the load distribution. The weight keeps the mast in tune with the fluctuation of the wrap as the items become more wrapped and the carousel turns. This minimizes possible accidents and damage during use.
